i will be the first to admit that lately logan has been getting all of my attention and then some. brady left out in the cold when it comes to mommy. someday you will read this and please know that it was never intentional. your brother is rather demanding and really persistent and stubborn alas he usually wins the battle. i spent a lot of time today thinking how much i miss reading to brady. brian and i have split the kids lately when it comes to bed time. so tonight i asked brady if mommy could take him to bed and read to him and daddy would take logan to bed and rock him. brady replied, "no daddy". so i asked again, " who do you want to take you to bed, mommy or daddy?" and brady replied, "daddy". decision made, i held back the tears..... we were all on our way up to bed and i said brady come on lets go upstairs. "no mommy i don't want you i want daddy." sniff, sniff, sniff. i will just be over here in the corner crying if anyone needs me......

Cheer up. Take a step back, don't get hung up on a one time event. Spend some time observing the thousand more subtle, not so obvious ways Brady shows how much he loves Mommy - I've seen them, believe me, they are there.
Listen to Aunt Tracy.....
That boy loves his momma. And Brady D. changes his mind on a daily basis on who his "favorite" is. I try not to take it personally.....fickle fellow!
