a memory in my mind
no pictures to share this time only a vision in my head that i thought i would share. tonight as i was finishing the preparation of dinner, i happened to notice something out of the corner of my eye. my world stopped as i watched my two boys interact together. logan was in his bouncy and brady was kneeling in front of it. he was talking to logan and logan was watching him so intently. brady suddenly laughed at the end of his story that none of us adults in the world would understand, but logan did. he started to smile so big at brady....... their bond of brotherhood began to grow today....... how sweet life is.

WOW!
Daddy got the Christmas lights put up on Sunday while Brady and I spent time with family before they left town. When we pulled up to the house that night everyone in the car rolled down the windows and said "WOW!" When Brady got out of the car and went to investigate what daddy had done to our house he said, "WOW!" and continued to say it for the rest of the night. One of life's cutest moments ever. He really is going to enjoy all the lights during the holidays this year!

uh oh
Well I must say I knew this day would come. Since we use "uh oh" in our house more than no, Brady has now adopted the phrase and made it a part of his vocabulary. Yes it is cute to hear him say it maybe one or twice, but 50 times in a day gets a little old, but I guess one could say that is probably close to as many times as he hears me say it. Turn about is fairplay I guess............ uh oh!

how many miles are on the pooh bus?
Grandma Smith asked the other day on the phone how many miles are on the pooh bus? I wish it had odometer, we would probably be shocked. We call our house the Smith Raceway. Brady no longer walks with it, he runs. He has gotten so good at turning it and hardly ever wipes out. It is quite amazing. Brian and I were questioning the other night whether to take away the pooh bus, if it was slowing down Brady's confidence for walking? Of course he still has it because we are huge suckers and just can't do it. He loves it so much, it is the first thing he does in the morning when he wakes up and if we would let him it would be the last thing he would do before bed. Nothing gets in his way either, not rugs, dog beds or dogs for that matter, he finds away to go over them and if that does not work he eventually learns to go around. Let me say again, Hopper than you for being such a patient and good dog! Go pooh bus go!!

Life's cutest moments not caught on tape
Recently Brian (my husband) and Brady my son have been going on nightly bike rides, to give mommy a break. Daddy pulls Brady in his "chariot" behind the bike. At first we were not sure if he really liked it or not. Tonight daddy was preparing for their bike ride and came back in the house with his helmet on to get Brady. Brady was playing on the floor and as soon as he looked up at daddy and saw his bike helmet, he dropped everything he was doing and crawled over to daddy as quickly as he could and held his hands up to be piked up. His legs were kicking with excitement as daddy lifted him. So I guess he really does like those bike rides. I am so glad that I get to witness all of Brady's cutest moments and cherish every last one of them. Now that is what being a parent is all about.
