who can resist these faces?

I can't! They both have such different personalities! If you look closely in their eyes you will be able to see them. One of them is very calm and relaxed, the other is very spunky and a little wild...... can you guess which is which?

what a mess

so aunty meg gave brady a big brother bag full of all kinds of all kinds of goodies...... some things mommy would not buy. the idea behind the bag was to give brady something to do while mommy nurses logan roo. so i let hime try out his new paints and well here is the result. i could do nothing but watch as this mess unfolded having logan attached to me. here is the good news though.... it washed off, brady had a great time and mommy learned an important lesson. it is okay for little boys to get messy and have fun. sometimes i just need to let go.

can you love them both?

the answer to the question is yes. many of you know that before logan arrived i questioned having enough love to go around. what a silly question. both boys are so different and both have qualities that i love, personalities that make them who they are. i love both so much yet so differently. i know my love for each will grow and grow each day as they continue to develop into awesome boys and then men they will become. here is to you peanut and roo. mommy sure does love you!

thomas table complete

After a lot of work by daddy and a lot of interfering by Brady, the train table is complete and glued down! No more destructive ripping up of the tracks! Brady loves it and spends a lot of time playing with it. Trains are usually the first thing he talks about in the morning and the last thing we hear about at night. He loves his Thomas the Train table and all of his trains! Choo Choo!

cowboy up!

In spirit of the National Western Stock Show, Brady's school had western wear day. Brady got to wear his cowboy boots and flannel shirt. He was looking pretty cute! The boots didn't last long the teacher had to change him into his tennis shoes, but at least we caught it on camera! Ride em cowboy, in Brady language "Giddy Up Orsey!"

all smiles

YES HE REALLY IS THIS PRECIOUS! Second child syndrome has set in for my little man. I was thinking today that he has not had his picture taken nearly as many times as Brady. So I decided to snap a few shots and caught him dreaming about something good, because this little smile managed to creep out. Not a lot of people get to see this, usually just mama at 3 am in the morning as I rock him back to sleep. I am so glad I get to share it with all of you! If this doesn't brighten your day I don't know what will. Keep smiling Logan, it sure is cute!

brotherly love

brady has got the hang of brotherly love, even though he is annoyed sometimes we know he loves logan or "wogan" if he is saying it. well..... finding time to blog lately has been well impossible, but we are starting to get some sort of routine down. as much of a routine as you can have with two kids under the age of two. brady is adjusting pretty well, i thought this picture was fitting. he is trying to really hard to be the loving older brother, but sometimes does not realize his strength or size of his head and the damage that it can do to logan. we remind him to be gentle and it seems to be working. sleepless nights, lots of diaper changes, swaddling and balancing attention between both boys is the name of the game. i hear little cries it is time for me to go. will try to blog again soon and keep all of you up to date on our ever growing little family.
