minivan mom

we all know them, the minivan moms. the mom i will never be. i would rather drive a suburban and pay $100 for a tank of gas every week then be caught dead in the dreaded classic soccer mom car. how lucky was i that our expedition had to go back to the body shop for more repairs from the accident. i was supposed to get a little sedan car for a rental, but the one there was filthy so i sacrificed. the rental car lady showed up in a minivan. so my kids would have a clean back seat to hang in i took the van...... yes i have been driving the dreaded minivan the last two days..... the repairs were only supposed to take a day and now we are going on three........ brady loves it though because he can climb in on his own and walk up to the drivers seat and pretend drive the car while I get logan situated..... i told him not to get used to it, we will have the hooptie back soon.

papas trains

today was a fun day that started out at the zoo. we were all so beat from being there all morning, that after nap we needed something low key to do. daddy busted out the big boy train set and we set the trains papa gave brady for his first birthday free to run circles around the track. it was fun to watch them go, but since brady could not touch them, for fear of breaking them he lost interest quickly. thanks papa for the cool trains and thanks to daddy for the track and the time it took to put it together. here is to many years of daddy and brady building things together!

taste of summer

This picture does not do justice to the messy boy on the back porch. With loads of sand in his pants, side walk chalk all over his shirt and face, mud on his hands, and water on his pants. Mommy is getting a good taste of what she will be dealing with this summer. We will need lots of bath soap and wipes to combat this mess. Brady loves to play outside and we are enjoying the 73 degree sunny day here in Denver.........

a memory in my mind

no pictures to share this time only a vision in my head that i thought i would share. tonight as i was finishing the preparation of dinner, i happened to notice something out of the corner of my eye. my world stopped as i watched my two boys interact together. logan was in his bouncy and brady was kneeling in front of it. he was talking to logan and logan was watching him so intently. brady suddenly laughed at the end of his story that none of us adults in the world would understand, but logan did. he started to smile so big at brady....... their bond of brotherhood began to grow today....... how sweet life is.

ellen show contest

Brady and I both love the Ellen show. We thought we would tape our little singer and enter him in the bathroom singing contest for the show but he was a little shy in the bathroom, so we had to find another way to show off his talents and his love for ellen............

Take two (not in the bathroom).

something for me

Every once in a while you have to do something for yourself as a mom. Something that makes you feel like you have something outside of parenting your children to challenge you in life. I recently tried some new product that I loved and have decided to try a new business venture in life. Today I became an Arbonne consultant. A new chapter in my life. Yes I will still be selling real estate as well, as if I don't have enough on my plate, but none the less I am excited to go down this new road...........

If time and money were no object, what would you be doing? Spending more time with your family, vacationing, doing more for others…..
If you keep doing what you are doing, will you keep getting what you’ve been getting? What will your life look like in 5 years -in 10 years?
Since 1980, Arbonne International has been dedicated to natural, botanically-based collections of Swiss Skin Care, Make-up, Aromatherapy and Nutritional product lines!

play time

I love watching both of my boys grow everyday. Playtime has become a fun time to watch both of them develop. Logan is growing into his play gyms and starting to grasp and bat at things. It is so fun to watch him play for little short periods of time and stare at things in wonder. Brady has begun his imaginative play stage. It is so fun to watch him give Elmo a drink in his mouth or to build something with lego's and then drive his car through it like it is a bridge or a road. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to stay home and watch my boys through all the different stages they will go through.

Logan and the Shrinking Monkey 2 months

My how time flys little man! You have the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. I especially love the one sided smile. Every once in a while you only raise the right side of your mouth in a little smirk. You have a dimple on the right side only, one of the many things about you that makes you Logan Roo. You have started cooing at us and love to follow objects, especially your mommy around the room. You have given me a few good nights of sleep. Your stretch has been from 9 to 4. Thank you by the way I very much needed it. You still love eating and have grown a few inches length wise and around the waist! You hold your head up very well and if we are holding you up right you love to use your legs and push into a standing position. We can't wait to see what the next month holds. Love you Logey Roo!
