a night time story for daddy

we thought after your long night of travel last night you could use a little help getting to sleep tonight....... we love you and miss you daddy!

little drummer boy

Brady loves to drum on daddy's drums. His musical talents continue to blossom. He is also starting to sing full songs like twinkle, twinkle little star and he even knows a few words to Taylor Swift songs........ maybe someday he will be a drummer in her band!

The story of Logan and the shrinking monkey - 1 month

Welcome home Logan Roo! We are so happy to finally have you here. This month has been such a roller coaster ride. Your big brother is excited to have you here most of the time, but sometimes gets a little jealous. I know that you will be the best of buds some day, it will just take some time. You are already sleeping better than Brady ever did and are smiling in your sleep. I know it is probably gas, but it sure is cute. You love to be cuddled and loved on and we love to do it. We have been giving you sun baths because you came home with a little jaundice. You seem to enjoy your brother serenading you when you are crying. We are so lucky to have you home and healthy. We love you little man and can't wait to watch you grow this year and many years to come.

Brady checking out the Ree- Rock in the restaurant
We are so fortunate to live in Colorado and have beautiful places like Red Rocks to go to. We have a little musician on hand so I can't help but wonder if he will be performing on this stage some day. We came up here today with Great Grammy and Papa to check out the sights and have some lunch. We had a blast and Brady got worn out checking out all of the cool stuff. He especially enjoyed dancing to the music and the gigantic Red Rock that was in the restaurant we ate in.
Thanks to Great Grammy and Papa for a fun day and a wonderful lunch. We love spending Thursdays with you!

these make really good bracelets you know

the finished product

brady after a day of baking cookies and lots of icing
We had a great day today with Aunt Mo baking Valentine's Day cookies. We used Grandma Betty's cut out cookie recipe. A very unique one with Nutmeg. Those of you who have never had one of these cookies, you are missing out. Brady learned how to cut out cookies. Like normal Brady style he found he then changed it to his own unique way. Who needs a full cookie anyway? The end product is pretty and yummy! Thanks Aunt Mo for coming over today and spending time with us. We sure did have fun with you! Happy Valentine's Day!
